The short version: Planetia does not collect, store, or share any personal data. The app is designed for children ages 5-9 and fully complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Apple's Kids Category guidelines.
Planetia ("Solar System for Kids") is an educational iPad app that lets children explore the solar system through interactive 3D experiences, quizzes, planet coloring, physics experiments, and sandbox building. It is published in Apple's Kids Category for ages 6-8.
We do not collect any personal information from children or adults. Specifically:
We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, photos, videos, audio recordings, location data, device identifiers, or any other personal information.
We do not use cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels, or any other tracking technologies.
We do not use any third-party analytics services, advertising networks, or data collection SDKs.
Planetia stores a small amount of app data locally on your device to remember your child's progress. This includes quiz scores, earned badges, rank progression, planet customizations, saved solar systems, and daily streak counts. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party.
If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently removed.
Planetia offers a single one-time in-app purchase to unlock premium features. This purchase is processed entirely through Apple's App Store payment system. We do not receive, store, or have access to any payment information, including credit card numbers, billing addresses, or Apple ID credentials. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details on how Apple handles purchase transactions.
Planetia offers a 7-day free trial of premium features. Trial status is tracked using Apple's iCloud Key-Value Storage, which syncs a simple flag across your devices via your iCloud account. No personal data is stored or transmitted as part of this process.
Planetia does not integrate any third-party services, SDKs, APIs, or frameworks that collect data. The only external service the app communicates with is Apple's StoreKit framework for processing in-app purchases, which is a first-party Apple service.
Planetia contains no advertising of any kind. We do not display ads, and we do not share data with advertisers.
Planetia does not contain links to external websites or apps that are accessible to children. Any action that would navigate outside the app (such as initiating a purchase) requires a parental gate.
